Happy Father's Day

There is so much suffering and tragedy and evil in the world that sometimes you wonder how joy can even exist.

But it does. All it requires is to be smiled at by a baby.

I have known joy every day since the moment I became a dad. I can't look at a baby without thinking of Samuel and Ethan, and how great the world is because of them.

I believe that joy ultimately triumphs over tragedy. That good ultimately triumphs over evil. And as long as there are babies in the world, I know these things will be true.
