Everyone who has made the world a better place by virtue of the love they give, the laughter they incite, or the people that they inspire.
Who do you admire?
I'll also take Jim Henson, Carl Sagan and Dr. Seuss, and add in Shakespeare, Virginia Wolff, Bill Moyers, Jon Stewart, Joni Mitchell, Meryl Streep, Roger Cohen,(op-ed,Times), my friend Lenna, and Elizabeth Warren. There are many more in between these disparate cracks, but I'll stop!

ReplyDeleteI just had to come back today, moved to add my beloved Pete Seeger to my list. What a classy hero he is...and today the Times shows him marching with the OWS'ers from 95th St. to Columbus Circle using two canes; he's 92!
