"Perhaps a new eye patch, a sword or a hook.
Perhaps a new pirate ship coloring book.
Or maybe some snowballs to throw at a ninja.
You know Santa'd never forget us, now didn'ja?"
The wee pirate hunkered down deep in his cot.
He struggled to keep his eyes closed but could not.
He turned to his papa and lifted his head.
"Why do we hate them?" the wee pirate said.
